Delete your account

You can delete your MyPinCard account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data. MyPinCard is operated by Golden Codes, Iraq.

Delete it in the app

• Open the MyPinCard app and sign in.
• Go to More, then Account.
• Tap Delete account, then confirm with Delete.
• Your account is closed and you are signed out straight away.

If you can't use the app

Email info@goldencodes.com.iq from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”, or message us on WhatsApp. We may first ask you to confirm it's you. We will delete your account and reply within 30 days.

Before you delete

Deleting your account can't be undone, and you will no longer be able to see your orders or codes. Copy any codes you haven't used yet first.

What we delete

• Your account details (name, email address, phone number and password): deleted or anonymised within 30 days.
• Identity documents and the photo of you, if you sent them: deleted when you delete your account.
• Your sign-ins on every device: ended straight away.

What we keep, and for how long

The law and fraud prevention require us to keep some records after your account is gone:

• Orders, payments and code-view records: 7 years, for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and disputes.
• Support conversations: 2 years after they end.
• Security logs: 12 months.
